St Andrews Marina, Panama City
Spent the day at St Andrews Marina  walked into the small town to pick up some things we needed from the grocery store then I found a barbershop for a quick haircut. There is a boat in the marina that sells fresh shrimp so I picked up a couple of pounds to boil for dinner tonight, There are lots of commercial boats in the marina shrimpers, and fishing boats both charter and  commercial.
I talked a bit with the owner of a small longliner boat I was asking him about the capacity of the huge reel that holds the main fishing line. On his boat the reel holds 30-35 miles of 900 lb test line. He fishes all the way down to Central America and stays out for up to 3 weeks at a time with crew of  3 or 4. He told me years ago he used to work on a boat out of Dulac, Louisiana, not far from our home.
Tomorrow morning we head out to Apalachicola it should be a 7-8 hour trip.
Below are some pictures from the marina and town of St. Andrews
