Port St Joe Marina
Sunday April 14, 2013

We woke up to dreary overcast skies, there was light rain most of the morning but it started raining hard after lunch. There was lots of lightning and strong winds. We are fine, tied up at the dock.
Tomorrow is supposed to be clear and not too windy so our plan is to go from here to the Panama City Municipal Marina.

We  are on the coast, under the red weather blob, just Southwest of Tallahassee. We have been in this front all day. It looks like it might be over us till late tonight.
If you like to see a little more about the St Joe area read this:

The huge Port St Joe Paper Company was established here in 1936 and owned over 500,000 acres of land it was shut down in 1998.  The company also once owned the Talisman Sugar Company near Lake Okeechobee.

Rain and wind about 5 PM

With luck we'll be on our way to Panama City in the morning.
