We got off to a windy start today it has also been overcast and drizzled a bit around noon.
There was quite a bit of traffic on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and we met about 15 tows on the way here. Near Lafitte Louisiana there is a huge construction project being done, lots of levees, floodgates, and an enormous pumping station.
Our small size helped us today The Bayou Blue pontoon bridge was down for repairs but there was just enough room for us to slip through. The tow boats with their barges had to wait for several hours, the same thing happened at the Lafitte construction project so we had no delays at all left Houma at 8 AM arrived Boomtown Casino at 3PM
