Entring Baytowne Marina in Sandestin
We had a very short trip to Baytowne Marina in Sandestin, it is about ten miles so we didn't leave Hogtown Bayou until after 10AM. The weather was nice as his has been every day lately, about noon we entered the Marina and tied up in the slip they assigned us. Baytowne is a part of the Sandestin resort which has condos, and several golf courses. There are about ten restaurants in the part right next to the marina.

The 49 ' trawler MV Tortuga from Baton Rouge is on the same dock 3 slips down from us. We met Grey Hammett, the owner, when we were here in 2005 he lives not far from our younger son in Baton Rouge.
We plan to leave here Thursday morning.
